P813 - 10 miles - for a brief history of testing on this course see below...
History of testing on the P813 contributed by Don Bulman:

The club start using this testing course back in the mid 1970's at the requested of our ' 'Road ' men of the day. Although not used a great deal these days, it has been claimed by many riders to be their favourite course !

Until 1981 the course record was a 24 min ride. The first ' 23 ' was recorded: C. Archer ( G.S. Europa ) 23m. 42s in July 1981.

The following year ( 02.06.1982) this time was blown apart by Tony Mayer ( Portsmouth C.C.) when he recorded an amazing  21m.58s. Tony didn't pursue a cycling career. He specialised in track racing, with the occasional time trial. He had entered for the National '  25 ' the Sunday following this event, which he used to sharpen up his speed with great success. Tony finished second to Dave Lloyd ( Manchester Wh ) 53m.34s in the National.

The result was extremely close, I believe it was only 2/3 secs that separated them.

The fastest time recorded by a  FWCC.club rider was Rowan Horner : 22m. 14s. in August 1995. This remains  the second fastest overall .
