Results - FWCC Club 10 mile TT 17th May 19:00 P813

Report from Roger:

For once the weather was relatively fine for our evening TT on the challenging P813 course. Although there was a brisk easterly wind at the start it had backed off quite considerably by the time the last rider (No 22) started. The road between the Chairmakers and Hambledon had been resurfaced reducing the risk of punctures as in previous years, so all was set for a good race.

Fastest man was Nick Andrews with 23:45, followed by Chris Fletcher (Team Axiom) and Howard Milner (HRC) with 24:42 and 24:47 respectively. The fastest of the Juniors was Callum Cross with 27:32.

Many thanks to the landlady of the Travellers Rest at Newtown for the use of her field for Race HQ.

Also many thanks to the following for help and assistance :- Bob Blackman Sign-on and Results Board, Don Bulman who helped with the timekeeping, Phil Morris for pushing off (and for doing some great superman poses) , Nigel Sign and Phil Clack for marshalling at the furthest most points on the course.

Henry was our official photographer - see his piccys here...
